The first thing that jumps to mind when thinking about the roaring 1920s is feathers, fringe and beads! Think fun and flirty but incredibly feminine.
Accessories:
Getting the Gatsby is trend right is more simple than you think because even the most plain of plain dresses can be given a Gatsby inspired feel by adding the correct accessories.
Think of pure decadence and indulge in all things that sparkle, from headbands to dangling earrings, neck pieces and rings. Layer long strands of pearls and beads or keep it simple by using art deco inspired pieces.
Hair:
Head pieces play an integral part in the Gatsby look, so fun with beads, feathers, sequence and lace. Or be daring and wear a hat! Keep it soft and don't forget to give your hair a Roaring Twenties twist! Here are some ideas to do for the day:
Shoes:
- Pumps
- Kitten Heels
- Pointy toes with block heels (usually around 6cm)
- Mary Jane’s
