In an economy that's as tight as ours has been for the last financial periods back-to-back, the positive outlook of the Rand this week might still have consumers reeling and paranoid about spending. Or is that really the case? Got money to burn?

South Africa: with your outlook being tremendously positive this week - and hopefully for longer than this week - look to your fellow emerging economy partners out in South East Asia for inspiration over how to use the extra money you might have to burn.
Mashable reports that a Singapore restaurant Ce La Vi and Russian diamond company World of Diamonds Group have collaborated to create the much-talked about 'world's most expensive dining experience'.
So after the meal which comes down to about R26,5 million, you would get to keep the gold-plated, 4 carat diamond-set chopsticks. Here are the culinary beauties:
