CEO of the Protea Coin Group Petrus van Niekerk reckons: "It’s a realisation that we as leaders leading organizations of today have a responsibility to really plough back and contribute to the better life of all people living in South Africa. But I also believe that what we do today will really determine the future and growth and development of our country in years to come.”
Speaking on the social significance of The Sun International CEO SleepOut™, Petrus adds: “This is a fantastic initiative which not only allows you to make a small contribution towards the lives and futures of others, but I think it also challenges you to reflect and take cognisance of the circumstances where the unfortunate find themselves living in on a day-to-day basis.”
Petrus is currently the Security Cluster CEO in the Bidvest Services Division, with businesses such as Bidvest Protea Coin, Bidtrack (Vehicle Tracking & Recovery) and Global Payment Technologies reporting into the Cluster.
