Rian planned a special surprise for Ellen, giving her something that would help to take her community project ("Change Lives with A Can of Paint") to new heights. Ellen believes it is important to bring the beauty back to the homes of the people in the community so that they have something positive to focus on.
Decorative Business Head of Plascon South Africa Katlego Kondlo gifted Ellen with an incredible 4000 litres of Easy Living paint that Ellen and the Lavender Hill community can tint to the colour of their choice to use in the "Change Lives with A Can of Paint" project.
Plascon also selected 20 youths from the community and enrolled them in a short course in painting to allow them to develop their skills for possible employment.
Furthermore, Plascon donated 20 paint starter packs for the youths who can use it on their first job.
