A Cape Town man has collected over 1,500 Barbie dolls - and the collection is worth over R1,5-million.

We all have something that we love and collect. Some people collect plants and others collect tea sets.
Justuis Pieterse Manefelt (36) collects Barbie dolls - and he is proud of it.

Manefelt, who has a 10-year-old daughter, is also the proud father of over 1,500 Barbie dolls.
According to Manefelt, his daughter is not so much into Barbie's anymore, but when she was younger she used to play with certain Barbie dolls.
"I started Barbie dolls when I was a young boy. My mother was not very happy, but my father stood up for me," he laughed.
"I am very proud of my collection. Every morning when I wake up, I walk through the room and just look at them."
