Lianie May channels her inner Dolly Parton with stunning performance
Updated | By Breakfast with Martin Bester and Tumi Morake
The 'Jy Soen My Nie Meer Nie' hit-maker joined Breakfast Show hosts Martin Bester and Tumi Morake for #FridayLive and had us all singing along.
'Toe Stop My Hart', 'Da Vat Hy' and 'Bel, Bel, Bel!!' are only a few of Lianie May's chart-topping singles that have no doubt managed to get many South Africans dancing.
With a number of albums, multiple awards and a film under her belt, Lianie is definitely not a fly-by, but here to stay. As one of the most-prominent voices and names within the Afrikaans music industry, May's sexy, husky voice and country girl persona is one that resonates with many.
Lianie May joined Martin and Tumi on Friday for #FridayLive and channeled her inner country girl and performed country music legend Dolly Parton's hit, 'Jolene'.
Even Tumi Morake and Elma Smit couldnt stop dancing...
