Showing some love to their Cape Town listeners, Breakfast with Martin Bester made their way to Cape Town to broadcast live from the Mother City.

During their visit, the team was joined by South African actor and content creator Anton Taylor, who has lived in Cape Town his whole life.

When asked whether the assumption that people in Cape Town are "cliquey" is true, Taylor confirmed that it is true.

"People in Cape Town are definitely cliquey. I would even go as far as to say unfriendly," he said.

Taylor also discussed the biggest differences between Gauteng residents and Cape Town residents.

The biggest difference, said Taylor, is that people from Joburg are more sociable.

This is because there are fewer activities to do in Gauteng than in Cape Town, which means that most people pass the time by going out and being social.

The 'Tali's Wedding Diary' actor also shared a hilarious story about his time at university when he was running for SRC (Students' Representative Council) at UCT.

"My campaign included a shirtless poster of me with a mullet," he said.

He added that Cape Town Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis also ran for SRC during his time at the university, but his focus was far more political and serious.
