Arno Carstens performs 'Another Universe' on Breakfast with Martin Bester
Over the years, Arno Carstens has earned the title of 'The Godfather of South African Rock' - and we completely understand why!
One of our favourite local rockstars, Arno Carstens, joined Martin Bester in studio for #FridayLive - what a way to kickstart the weekend!

Carstens is a platinum-selling, award-winning singer-songwriter who has released 12 highly successful albums; five as lead singer of Springbok Nude Girls, one as part of electronica project Bhelltower, and six as a solo artist.

But it was not just our live studio audience that enjoyed his performance. Our SMS and WhatsApp lines were flooded with numerous messages stating Carstens' live performance of his 2003 hit was the best way to start their Friday morning.

Carstens will grace the stage on 15 September at the Francois van Coke en Vriende show at Sun Arena at Time Square Casino.
Francois will host a rock spectacular showcasing his collaborations with various prestigious local artists. Other artists include Karen Zoid, Jack Parow, and Coenie de Villiers.
