Tendai Mtawarira has been known as “Beast” since he was nine years of age. His childhood best friend tagged him with the nickname in primary school and it stuck!
He has 117 caps for the Springboks, making him the third most capped Springbok of all time behind Victor Matfield and Bryan Habana.

Martin Bester caught up with the Rugby World Cup winner after he expressed an interest in joining the WWE during an Instagram live chat with WWE Superstar, Kofi Kingston.
Kofi became the first African-born WWE Champion after winning the title at Wrestlemania 35 in 2019.
Beast said he received an e-mail from a WWE agent last night!
“Whatever happens, it has to be short-term because I have a lot on my plate at the moment.”
