Benoni community take matters into their own hands

The most heartwarming thing is seeing South Africans working together.
With all the negativity enveloping South Africa currently, we all need some positivity.
That’s exactly what the Benoni community in Gauteng did when they participated in a major cleanup in the Northmead area.

A video shared on social media by S.A Nice shows community members coming together to clean up streets and paint street signs.
According to this post, Benoni community members were cleaning up their surroundings while also enjoying a family fun day together.
“This is so heartwarming to see them painting the lines and actually getting together,” a man narrating the video said.

The video starts with just a few members cleaning up, but as it pans, an entire community of people can be seen with banners, braais, and gazebos.
