BTS members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook announced on Tuesday 14 June that they will be taking a break to focus on their solo careers.
"We're each going to take some time to have fun and experience lots of things," band member Jungkook said. "We promise we will return someday, even more, mature than we are now."
According to People, the 'Dynamite' singers' representative corrected their statement by saying that they are "not going on hiatus but will take time to explore some solo projects."

It has not been confirmed how long the band will take to focus on their solo careers.
"I always thought that BTS was different from other groups, but the problem with K-pop and the whole idol system is that they don't give you time to mature," RM said.
