'Carte Blanche’ legend Derek Watts suffers suspected stroke

Television's most famous investigative journalist shared a picture on social media informing viewers that he suffered a suspected stroke.
Investigative journalist and TV presenter Derek Watts is “learning to walk again” after he was diagnosed with severe sepsis.
The 'Carte Blanche' presenter said in a Twitter post on Sunday that he suffered a suspected stroke that led to him collapsing.

“Morning! Looks scary but collapsed with suspected stroke in Hoedspruit 14 days ago and despatched to super pro Mill Park Hospital ICU.”
He also shared a selfie from his hospital bed.

The South African legend assured fans he would be back on their TV sets as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, he has to learn to walk again due to the sepsis.

According to News 24, 'Carte Blanche' executive producer John Webb said: “It says a lot about the legend that is Derek Watts that, within days of being admitted to hospital, he was itching to get back into the field."
