Cash-in-transit heist on N4 highway shocks social media

The heist took place at around 20h45 on the N4 near the Watermeyer offramp, but the details are sketchy.
According to reports, shots were heard in Die Wilgers and Val de Grace, even as far as the Moot, and pictures of a burning car started circulating on social media.

Jacaranda FM News reported that emergency services spokesperson Charles Mabaso says they received the call just after 21h00.
According to the GTP Gauteng Traffic Police on social media, the N4 was closed in both directions.
