Global superstar Celine Dion was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder called stiff-person syndrome.
In December 2022, Celine Dion shared the heart-breaking news of her diagnosis and told the world that she had been struggling with her health for some time.
Some of the symptoms of stiff-person syndrome include stiff muscles in the trunk (torso), arms, and legs, and greater sensitivity to noise, touch, and emotional distress, which can set off muscle spasms.

Despite numerous outlets reporting on her health battle, the 'My Heart Will Go On' star had yet to open up about her disorder.
Now, in a tell-all documentary, Dion is finally ready to speak out.
The first trailer for her self-titled TV documentary, 'I Am: Celine Dion', which will air on Amazon Prime soon, has just been released.
The 56-year-old's show will be released on the platform on June 25.
In the emotional trailer, Dion says, "I wasn't ready to say anything before, but I’m ready now", as she starts to cry.
The 'Power Of Love' hitmaker also opened up about her success, reminiscing on her "heydays" and how she missed the stage.

"Every day, I have to admit, It's been a struggle," she says as shots show her getting help with her mobility.
"This last couple of years has been such a challenge for me, the journey from discovering my condition to learning how to live with and manage it, but not to let it define me."
"As the road to resuming my performing career continues, I have [realised] how much I have missed being able to see my fans. During this absence, I decided I wanted to document this part of my life, to try to raise awareness of this little-known condition, to help others who share this diagnosis," she said ahead of its release on Amazon.
