Outrage! Chicken tikka masala cooked in air fryer sparks controversy

A video of a person cooking chicken tikka masala in an air fryer has sparked controversy and left the internet divided.
Air fryers have officially taken over the world, and people are often left with one simple question: "What else can I try to make in my air fryer?"
Most recipes today can be made in an air fryer, but when one Instagram user posted a video of how they make the famous chicken tikka masala in an air fryer, many were not happy.

In an Instagram video posted on @thisisplanetfood, someone can be seen making a delicious chicken tikka masala in an air fryer.

They start by mixing chicken, yogurt, and tikka curry paste. Then, they cook it with onions in the air fryer for 10 minutes.
After that, they add passata, tomato purée, cream, sugar, and salt. They put it back in the air fryer for 15 minutes and finish it with chopped green leaves.
The caption says, "Want a quick curry? Try this easy air-fryer chicken tikka masala, perfect for a cozy night in."

This video evoked a lot of mixed comments with some being outraged that the person made the famous dish in an air fryer.
One user wrote: "Do this world a favour, and stay away from Indian food."
“Bro managed to offend the whole Indian community,” said another.
A third commented: "As an Indian, I’m traumatized yet impressed (laughing face emoji)."
"Bro where are the spices? Why parsley instead of coriander? What in the world?"
