In 2021, the South African musician Demi Lee Moore visited Breakfast with Martin Bester and paid tribute to Theuns Jordaan.
South Africans received the sad news on Wednesday, 17 November, that the beloved singer had passed away.

Leukaemia was diagnosed in the singer and he had been receiving chemotherapy treatment.
Jordaan's hit singles include 'By Jou', 'Roeper', and his duet with Juanita du Plessis, 'Bring Jou Hart'.

Moore paid tribute to Jordaan by performing his famous hit single, 'By Jou'. The Friday Live performance went viral at the time and received thousands of views.
