On Friday, 29 July 2022 South African singer Karlien van Jaarsveld also shared exciting news about the release of her new single with singer-songwriter Jacob Swann.
The song, 'Lief' was first released by Swann as his own single, but it was later decided to also record the song as a duet between Swann and Van Jaarsveld.

The 'Geskeurde Jeans' singer has been a fan of Swann since his appearance on 'Die Kontrak,' an Afrikaans singing competition. Van Jaarsveld was immediately sold on the idea and before long the duet version of 'Lief' was released.
With the release of 'Lief' in July 2022, the song immediately made it to the Top-10 Afrikaans Hits on Apple Music.
Fans of the song will be able to see the Cape Town-based singer, Jacob Swann and Van Jaarsveld perform 'Lief' at 'Liefde By Die Dam' in Johannesburg on 14 August.
