Good Morning Angels: Six-year-old sells jewellery to help grandma
On Good Morning Angels we helped six-year-old entrepreneur, Hailey, who is selling jewellery in order to buy her grandma a mobile oxygen machine.
Six-year-old Hailey has captured many a heart and even newspaper headline with her determination to help her gran, Lientjie, with a mobile oxygen machine.
She came up with the idea to make and sell jewellery from beads to raise the funds needed.
Hailey, her mom Martie, and her granny Lientjie have been living together for most of Hailey’s life. Her parents split up just three weeks after her birth and it’s been the three generations living together and looking after one another ever since.

Granny Lientjie has been struggling with her health lately. She has to be on permanent oxygen due to a weak heart. This means that Lientjie cannot go outside the house - unless she has a mobile oxygen machine.
As a single mom looking after her ailing mother and daughter, Martie cannot afford this. That’s why Hailey came up with her plan to raise enough funds to afford her dear granny the opportunity to live a fuller life again.
Hailey attended her first market last weekend and earned R310. She has another market coming up this weekend. However, it would take many more markets for her to raise the R45,000 needed to get her gran’s mobile oxygen machine!

My 6-jarige dogtertjie, Hailey Lindemann van Theresapark in Pretoria-Noord, het die baie goeie idee gekry om krale juwele te maak en te verkoop. Eers wou sy baie graag 'n tablet gehad het - wat 'n wassery toe in 'n kompitisie aan haar geskenk het. Nou wil Hailey als done.
Sy wil graag vir ouma Lientjie 'n portable suurstof masjien koop, sodat ouma ook saam met ons plekke kan sien. En natuurlik spaar vir ná skool eendag.
Ouma het Stage 4 hartversaking en is op 24/7 suurstof. Ouma bly by my en Hailey.
So het Hailey haar eie besigheid begin en ek en ouma help waar ons kan. Sy doen klaar so goed. Is genooi vir verskeie stalletjies. Selfs APPEL se vrou en dogtertjie dra "Hailey's Handmade Goodies" se skeppings.
