Cellphone robbers are allegedly targeting motorists in line at drive-thrus across Centurion.
Paul Visser from the Pretoria ICE Community Network confirmed that these incidents have been taking place and urged motorists to be extra vigilant.
"We've received reports of a white Toyota Corolla targeting people late at night at takeaway drive-thrus in the Centurion area," he said.

"The occupants are attempting to rob or grab cellphones from vehicles."
According to Pretoria Rekord, Visser also shared a video of what he claimed to be a recent incident.

Video footage taken from a car's dashcam shows a man allegedly scouting the cars in the drive-thru. The man can be seen walking up to a car when he suddenly turns around.
Further information about the incident and the white Toyota Corolla, which was spotted in Centurion, is not yet available, but Visser still shared the video in an attempt to warn motorists.
"When it comes to sitting in a vehicle, never sit in your parked vehicle without being conscious of your surroundings," he advised.

He added that residents should have their keys ready and keep the doors locked and the windows closed.
"Do not leave bags, briefcases, or any valuables inside the car; rather, place these items in the boot. Out of sight, out of mind."
"When stopping behind another vehicle, leave enough space in front of your vehicle to make an emergency escape if necessary, especially from hijackers."
