"I'm going to miss the morning family" - Liesl Laurie bids farewell
Former Miss South Africa and Breakfast with Martin Bester traffic presenter says her last goodbye!
On Thursday, 30 June 2022 Liesl Laurie said her final goodbye on Breakfast with Martin Bester.
It was announced on Tuesday that the former Miss South Africa and Breakfast with Martin Bester traffic presenter will be hanging up her earphones for the last time.

Liesl started her journey at Jacaranda FM on Sunday evenings, 08:00 pm to midnight, and went on to host her own show – The CTM Top 20 with Liesl Laurie every Saturday. She eventually joined radio master - Martin Bester as part of the breakfast show on weekdays.
On Thursday the Breakfast team celebrated Laurie's last show with some of her favourite moments as well as a surprise visit from her husband Dr Musa Mthombeni and their dog Cashew.

“Saying goodbye is never easy, I’m going to miss the morning family as well as Martin and the JacaBreakfast team, but I’m so thankful for this experience and to have grown in a medium I have so much love and respect for,” said Liesl Laurie.
There was not a dry in our studios as Laurie said, for the last time, "I'm Liesl Laurie with your time-saver traffic."
