Certain food prices have gone through the roof and citizens aren't happy about it.
The ANC’s Deputy Secretary-General, Jessie Duarte, says this is not the time to increase food prices.
“We must appeal to all retail stores to take into account that these are special circumstances, these are extraordinary circumstances and while the government is leaving no-one out, food retailers must also make sure that no one is unable to buy food,” says Duarte.
