On Monday, Breakfast with Martin Bester spoke to the deputy chairperson of the Patriotic Alliance, Ashley Sauls, about the six-year-old's disappearance.
Sauls, who was at a silent protest on Monday regarding the case, told Martin Bester that he and the Saldhana community are outraged over the lack of information from police surrounding the case.
"We don't want anything else. We want answers. Where is Joslin Smith? The whole country; the whole world, is waiting for updates... is waiting for 'what's going on?'"
When asked whether the police are quiet because some information might jeopardise the case, Sauls said the police should still give general information and information that is "not that sensitive".

According to Sauls, one of the accused (a lady who wore a red gown in recent photos shared on social media) is not thought to be a sangoma or one of the accused.
During the silent protest, the South African politician was also wearing a Croc sandal, ribbon and sock he found on the beach.
"We've been asking since we found it can just do a DNA test."
Sauls also told Martin Bester that police should listen to the community in the area as they might have more information surrounding the case.
"The police is not listening to the community; to the information the community is giving," said Sauls.
