Amid all the worry and struggle facing communities at the moment, we draw strength from the stories of goodwill and hope.
Due to the national coronavirus lockdown and its challenges, we draw strength from the love that emerges to assist those in need.
Individuals, organisations, and companies have stepped up in different ways to be of assistance in this time of national need. One such individual is Jacaranda FM’s very own GrooveMaster, DJ Jazzy D, who himself faced many challenges like poverty in the past.
Jazzy has, over the years, given back to the community that supported his childhood dreams.
DJ Jazzy D has been appealing on Facebook for donations to assist thousands of hungry families in South Africa.
When DJ Jazzy D delivered a food parcel to a woman in Eersterust, he saw a greater need and acted immediately.
The DJ built a home for double amputee, Aunty Von, who lived in a ‘Wendy house’.
