A 'Dry Wedding' refers to a wedding where no alcohol is served, not even a cash bar for guests to purchase their own.

According to News24, this bride received mixed reactions on Reddit when she began the conversation that she and her husband decided to have a 'Dry Wedding'.
Naturally, some Reddit users defended the bride's decision while others disagreed.
An increasing number of people are getting on the 'Dry Wedding' bandwagon and it has left many people divided about the rules and regulations couples set out for weddings.

This further sparked a debate on other rules people make surrounding weddings. One caller told the Breakfast with Martin Bester team that she sent some of her invited guests invoices when they didn't "pitch" at her wedding.
