Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Tuesday introduced the company's latest product - a $50 (R800) whistle.

The limited-edition Cyberwhistle is a "premium collectable" made from medical-grade stainless steel, the electric vehicle company said.
Musk tweeted a photo of the whistle - and made a few jokes.

"Don’t waste your money on that silly Apple Cloth, buy our whistle instead!" Musk said on Twitter.
