LOOK: Thabo Bester wears R19,000 hoodie during virtual trial
Updated | By Etienne Bruwer
Things seem to be going well in jail as Thabo Bester and his accomplice Dr Nandipha Magadumana rocked glamorous looks during their virtual court appearances.
South Africa’s infamous crime duo, Thabo Bester and Dr Nandipha Magadumana, appeared in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
Both appeared in court virtually, with Bester still being held in the Kgosi Mampuru Correctional Centre in Pretoria.

During the proceedings, the 'Facebook rapist' was seen wearing a black hoodie which, according to reports, costs a whopping R19,000.

It is not clear, however, whether the hoodie was authentic, but considering that Bester is alleged to have run a multimillion-rand company from inside jail before his escape in 2022, it seems likely.
Meanwhile, in a different courtroom, Dr Nandipha Magudumana also appeared virtually on Tuesday.

Magudumana was looking glammed-up with a full face of make-up and her hair done.
Dr Nandipha must have a phone in Prison, she must have seen that people were complaining & laughing at the fact that she did baby hair on her previous appearances, then today she was like "you all haven't seen anything" 10 past 4 lipstick, brows on fleek. #DrNandipha #ThaboBester pic.twitter.com/UUJjHsxxqc

South Africans all over social media were outraged at what they are calling “disrespectful” behaviour, with many being shocked over how the pair could “look so good”.
“Dr Nandipha Magudumana is posing, smiling and displaying fashion statement caring less about the family that lost their son and also, in a way, arrogantly mocking the court,” said one Twitter user.
