Man teaches American fiancée Afrikaans part of SA national anthem
Updated | By Breakfast with Martin Bester
TikTokkers Gogo & Mo shared a cute video of them singing the South African national anthem... or trying, at least!
After the first video the couple posted of them trying to sing the South African national anthem, many followers asked the couple to try the Afrikaans part of the anthem.
In a hilarious part two, the couple fulfilled their followers' wishes when the South African decided to teach his fiancée the national anthem.

The man led the song, hitting all the correct notes and perfectly pronouncing the words. His fiancée, however, did not do as well, as she hilariously struggled with most of the words.

The video has garnered over 100,000 views, 9,000 likes, and 200 comments, all hilariously reacting to the "butchered" version of the anthem.
"She butchered the taal," said one TikTok user.
"Nah gogo don't feel bad some of us have live in SA our whole lives and we don't know the Afrikaans part," said another.
Many also comforted her, saying they understood how difficult it was.
