As snow fell for the first time in a decade on Monday, Martin Bester was reminded of the time he organised a ‘Snow Wedding’ in just three hours.
Jacaranda FM listeners Rui Moca and Monique Jouber said they’d get married the day it snows in Johannesburg.
As fate would have it, it happened.
Almost a decade ago, it snowed in Johannesburg, and Martin Bester decided to help the couple get married.

Monique’s sister sent a mail to Martin Bester asking him to help her sister’s 'Snow Wedding' become a reality.
In just three hours, Martin Bester and his team organised an entire wedding with a cake, champagne, a honeymoon suite, and more.
The lovely couple then finally tied the knot live on the Martin Bester Drive and became Mr and Mrs Moca.

Almost a year later, the couple also welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Isabella 'Snowflake' Moca.
