Mzansi Youth Choir makes 'America’s Got Talent' finale

Congratulations are in order for the Mzansi Youth Choir, who made it to the 'America’s Got Talent' finale.
The Mzansi Youth Choir made their way to the 'America’s Got Talent' finale after their performance of Fleetwood Mac's 'Everywhere'.

The finale is scheduled for September 23.
Mzansi Youth Choir from Soweto, Johannesburg in Gauteng, South Africa, first took America by storm.
They delivered an extraordinary performance during the 18th season of 'America’s Got Talent' in Pasadena, California, United States.

The group performed a tribute to Nightbirde's 'It's OK'.
Jane Marczewski (better known by her stage name, Nightbirde), received a Golden Buzzer during the 16th season but could not progress to the next round of 'America’s Got Talent' due to cancer. On 19 February 2022, she sadly passed away.

The group was showered with a Group Golden Buzzer, which included an audience Golden Buzzer, simultaneously resulting in an astonishing six Golden Buzzers! It was Golden Buzzer chaos!
This sent them straight into the semi-finals in August 2023.

The founding principle of the Mzansi Youth Choir 20 years ago was “to provide opportunities for talented, underprivileged teenagers to proficiently perform locally and abroad”.
Over the past 20 years, they have consistently sustained, honoured, and increased on this founding principle.
Mzansi Youth Choir has become known for its extraordinary choral and vocal standards from extremely talented teenagers, their pinpoint choreography to complement and support the different genres of music, and a beautiful wardrobe to complete a professional show choir performance package.
