An unidentified passenger landed a plane in Florida after the pilot fell ill and passed out.
After a pilot in Florida fell ill and passed out, an unidentified passenger had to land the plane with no flight experience.

According to BBC News, the unidentified man “had no idea how to stop the airplane.”
“I’ve got a serious situation here. My pilot has gone incoherent.”

The air traffic controller, Robert Morgan, guided the man to a safe landing.
Morgan had to point the passenger to the runway and tell him how to reduce the power so he could descend to land.

After the plane was safely on the ground, the two met and shared a hug.
