A platinum table seat includes a three-course meal, welcome drinks with officials, entertainment, branding opportunities, and 10 tickets to the FNB VIP marquee.
According to reports, the gala dinner will be a "curtain-raiser" for the EFF's 10th birthday party expected to take place at the FNB Stadium two days later.
The South African publication noted that although this is a lot of money, it is the same price businesspeople had to pay to share a table with President Cyril Ramaphosa during the ANC’s elective conference in December.
WARNING: These financial mistakes are leaving you penniless
EFF party leader Julius Malema also shared a message ahead of the anniversary dinner, asking the party's followers for donations.
“We are calling on all peace loving South Africans, revolutionaries from the African continent and the diaspora to finance our own revolution.”
