The 2024 Summer Olympics concluded in Paris, France, on 11 August.
Out of more than 10,00 athletes, 150 of those represented our beautiful country, South Africa.
This was Team South Africa's 21st appearance at the Olympic Games, which took place from 26 July to 11 August.

Coming into the 2024 Games, the country was looking to improve on the three medals it received at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics - and improve they did.
In Tokyo, South Africa claimed three medals: gold and silver from Tatjana Smith (Schoenmaker) and silver from Bianca Buitendag.
In 2024, Team South Africa managed to double that, bringing home six Olympic medals.
However, South Africa's success didn't stop there, as Olympic swimmer Pieter Coetzé also managed to break the African record in the men’s 100m and 200m backstroke.
