Virgin Atlantic allows cabin crew to display arm tattoos
Virgin Atlantic cabin crew will now be allowed to display their arm tattoos from Tuesday.
Virgin Atlantic has dropped a ban requiring its cabin crew to cover up tattoos on their arms.
The cabin crew will now be allowed to display their tattoos from Tuesday, following an announcement by the airline.

Virgin Atlantic's Chief People Officer Estelle Hollingsworth said: "Many people use tattoos to express their unique identities and our customer-facing and uniformed colleagues should not be excluded from doing so if they choose."
According to Reuters, the founder of Virgin Atlantic, Richard Branson, said it was now also "relaxing its tattoo restrictions ahead of a fresh recruitment drive for cabin crew."

The airline said that neck, face, and head tattoos must still be covered, as well as any possibly offensive tattoos.
In 2019, Virgin Atlantic also dropped a requirement for female crew members to wear make-up.
