Virgin Atlantic offers COVID-19 medical, quarantine, and funeral cover to passengers
Updated | By Breakfast with Martin Bester
Virgin Atlantic will offer free COVID-19 insurance to all its passengers who travel between 24 August 2020 and 31 March 2021.
Virgin Atlantic is introducing a similar policy to what Emirates did in July. If you catch COVID-19 while traveling, your medical treatment, quarantine, and even your funeral will be paid for by the airline.
It applies to every existing booking, as well as new bookings.

The airline is making sure that you have peace of mind in every way when you fly with them. With their free Coronavirus insurance, they’ll help take care of the health and quarantine costs that arise, should you fall ill or experience difficulties due to COVID-19.
Whether or not your travel insurance covers you for Coronavirus, their policy is an extension to your travel insurance, making sure you can book your adventure or business trip with confidence.
