The 'Idols SA' star stunned South Africa with her rendition of the national anthem before the Springboks' Test match against Portugal.
Former 'Idols SA' winner Jody Williams has, in recent years, retreated from the spotlight after "quitting" music.
Williams did, however, give South Africans another glimpse into her impeccable talent when she performed the national anthem ahead of the Springboks vs Portugal Test match this weekend in Bloemfontein.

The Cape Town singer performed her rendition of 'Nkosi Sikel'i Afrika' at the Toyota Stadium in a gorgeous emerald green dress.
Williams was praised for her show-stopping performance.

This performance follows that of Ntokozo Mbambo, who sang the anthem in Durban, and KB Motsilanyane, who performed in Pretoria and made headlines nationwide after leaving fans in tears.
According to The South African, Williams quit music after claiming that appearing in the singing competition "ruined" her life.
Speaking to The Daily Voice, she said: "The gigs were drying up, the money was getting little, you know how it goes when a new Idols winner comes along, people stop booking the old Idols."

Williams allegedly quit music, sold her family home, and became an office receptionist.
"I am so happy with what I am doing. Music ruined me as a young adult and I was yearning for stability. I spoke to my family and told them I didn't want to do music anymore. I now do it as a hobby, but I don't want to sing for a living again."
However, this is not the last we'll seen of the South African singer. She's set to return to the stage for a Women's Day event at GrandWest in Cape Town.
