South Africa's beloved MMA star, Dricus du Plessis, is back home!
South Africans are feeling the gees as our UFC champ, Dricus du Plessis, landed on home soil after his victorious trip to Canada.

Du Plessis returned to South Africa on Thursday, 25 January, following his victory over Sean Strickland in their UFC Middleweight Championship battle.
He arrived at OR Tambo International Airport at 07:45, with many excited fans awaiting his return.

Du Plessis made history by winning the UFC Middleweight Championship against Strickland at UFC 297.
The much-anticipated fight took place at the Scotiabank Arena in Ontario, Canada, on Sunday morning.
Du Plessis won by a split decision, 48-47, with two judges in the South African's favour.
He is unbeaten in the UFC since his series debut in October 2020, racking up six successive wins to become the top contender in the division.
