Martin Bester spoke to a few restauranteurs to explain exactly what the situation is.
In June, President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that the country will move to level 4 of the lockdown amid concerns over the rapid spread of COVID-19.
Restaurants are only allowed to sell take-aways and food for delivery. All alcohol sales are also forbidden for the next two weeks.
The Scenic Drive with Rian reported a Facebook group was created to help support local restaurants in Gauteng.

However, exactly how much money are the restaurants losing during level 4 and after a year of lockdown?
Martin Bester spoke to a few restauranteurs to explain exactly what the situation is.
One business owner says take-aways only contributes to 5% of the turnover.
