WATCH: Woman sets Guinness World Record for loudest nose whistle

We wish we were joking, but this is real!
The Guinness World Records is known for sharing some of the strangest and most fascinating world records.
This year started with Lulu Lotus setting the Guinness World Record for the loudest nose whistle.
According to the official Guinness World Record website, Lotus, a Canadian native, can reach a pitch of 44.1 decibels (C-weighted) with her nose, making it the loudest nose whistle in the world.

"That's as loud as a birdcall!"
Lotus said that she first discovered her talent when she was about seven years old.
"I discovered my ability to create whimsical melodies with my nose," she said.
"I couldn't resist the temptation to play pranks on teachers and classmates at school."

Lotus uses her throat muscles to control how air flows out of her nose, enabling her to nose whistle.
