You are most likely to be a victim of crime on these days

Police Minister Bheki Cele revealed, during a briefing, the days South Africans are most likely to fall victim to crime.

On Monday, Police Minister Bheki Cele addressed the media at the Birchwood Hotel in Boksburg, Ekurhuleni, where he denied suggestions that the authorities were not doing enough to fight crime in the country.
According to Cele, more than 170,000 suspected criminals have been arrested since the inception of Operation Shanela (an initiative aimed at reducing serious crimes) in May.

"Many of them [have outstanding cases] on murder, house robberies, car-hijacking and all that," he said.
"The police don't get weekends off now… station commanders don't know anything called weekends. We can't allow the country to be co-governed with criminality."
Cele also revealed when most crime incidents take place.

During the briefing, ANC's Peace and Stability chairperson, Poppy Boshielo, also briefed the media on the interventions to tackle illegal mining and other forms of lawlessness.
The scourge of illegal mining and related violent activities has rocked the country.

According to Jacaranda FM News, Boshielo said efforts are in place to improve the government’s approach to tackling the problem, which includes working together with the Department of Home Affairs and the SA National Defence Force.
"We are refining our processes, and it's unfair to put the blame on Comrade Ndosi [Cele] when he’s trying as much as possible to do the best he can. As the ANC, we have trust in him, and we going to support him."More on the briefing here:
