As the storm seems to reach its full force in the Cape the oceans are starting to show the effects.
The storm sent many into a frenzy, causing schools to be shut down until the storm calms down. Naturally, many took to social media to share videos and images of the strong winds and power of the storm.

8 people have so far been confirmed dead and damages have been reported from around the province.

As the storm starts to worsen, weather services have asked people to stay indoors and away from the beaches as the waves are expected to increase in size and intensity.
