551 Covid-19 recoveries in Gauteng
Gauteng has 1148 confirmed cases of Covid-19, with 551 recoveries in the province and six deaths.
The provincial health department released its latest breakdown on Monday.
This comes after the national health ministry confirmed 3 158 Covid-19 cases around the country, with 114 711 tests conducted.
The Gauteng Department of Health said on Monday that 2771 people, who were confirmed to be in contacts with individuals with coronavirus, have been discharged.
The country’s economic hub Johannesburg has 690 confirmed cases, followed by Ekurhuleni (233) and the capital city Tshwane on 122.
