#CoronavirusinSA cases jump to more than 10 000

The number of COVID-19 cases continues to increase in South Africa, surpassing the 10 000 mark on Sunday.
A statement released by the Health Ministry shows that South Africa now has 10 015 cases of COVID-19.
The Western Cape and the Eastern Cape make up 84% of the total infections.
The Western Cape, which has been labeled as the country's epicenter, now accounts for over 50% of the cases - with a total of 5 168.

Meanwhile, the number of new deaths has risen by 8, bringing the total number to 194.
Four deaths wree confirmed in Gauteng, three in the Western Cape, while one person died from the virus in the Eastern Cape.
Recoveries have also increased and stand at 4 137.
