Covid-19 death toll rises to 54 in South Africa

The Health ministry says 54 South Africans have so far died from the coronavirus.
Health Minister, Zweli Mkhize, confirmed that two new deaths have been confirmed – one from KwaZulu-Natal and the other in the Western Cape.
Mkhize says 3158 Covid-19 causes have been confirmed in the country, with 114 711 tests conducted.
Gauteng has surpassed the 1000 mark with 1148 cases, followed by the Western Cape at 868 and KwaZulu-Natal at 617 cases.
