The Minister of Health, Zweli Mkhize was speaking in Bloemfontein where he has met with the Free State government to discuss the first cases in that province.
The rural province has recorded its first 7 COVID-19 infections since the pandemic hit the country.

"We have already identified a number of patients that she has looked after so that we can identify the possible source. The patients will also be screened," says the minister.
