Covid-19 shuts Emfuleni municipal offices
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
The Emfuleni Local Municipality says it has had to temporarily close two of its offices in Vanderbijlpark after an employee tested positive for Covid-19.

Municipal spokesperson Stan Gaba says mass testing is expected to start on Wednesday.
"All employees working at head office are going to be tested, and followed up, especially the contact testing of all the employees who were in contact with the affected employee.”
Gaba says the two municipal buildings have been disinfected and services are expected to resume on Thursday.
"If any employee has not been tested they will not be allowed into the building but will be referred for screening," he says.
Gaba says affected services in the area will resume on Thursday.
