This as the country battles to come to grips with the COVID-19 Coronavirus disaster.

In a statement released by the Department of Health, Mkhize says there has been an increase of 128 cases since Sunday. The Northern Cape has its first case while Gauteng remains the hardest hit with 207 cases.
The party issued a statement with proposed economic measures to combat the impact of the pandemic in the country, including suggesting that all banks should grant a payment holiday on home loans, vehicle finance loans, as well as credit card and overdraft repayments.
“Banks should not be allowed to retrench workers during the payment holiday initiative, and all payment initiatives should be for a minimum of 4 months,” added the party.
The EFF also urged all service providers, such as Multichoice, Vodacom, MTN, Telkom, and Cell C, to suspend debit orders and service fees for 4 months.
