A faculty member at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) at the University of Pretoria (UP) has tested positive for COVID-19.
In a statement released by the institution, GIBS says the 37-year-old woman has no recent travel history.
The woman is believed to have been in contact with an individual who tested positive for the COVID-19 Coronavirus.
"The faculty member has been in quarantine since Sunday. She remains asymptomatic," read the statement.
All classes at GIBS have been suspended while teaching has been moved online.
Some lecturers have been rescheduled until after mid-April.
