President Cyril Ramaphosa has jokingly said that he plans to launch a television channel to help teach South Africans how to put on a mask.

The president had the nation in stitches after he was captured on television struggling to put on his mask after his address on Thursday.
Ramaphosa initially put the mask over his eyes and nose before he managed to put it on correctly.

But the statement didn't waste the opportunity to poke fun at himself when addressing the media outside Charlotte Maxeke Academic Hospital in Parktown on Friday.
"For those who were laughing at me yesterday, let me tell you something.
"I am going to open a TV channel so that I can teach people how to put on a mask, so you can enroll how a mask is put on," he said.
Thousands of South Africans joined in on the fun on Twitter, mocking the President by giving starting the #MaskChallenge.
