Limpopo govt to discuss ZCC Moria pilgrimage amid coronavirus
The Limpopo provincial government says it will be discussing the annual Moria City Pilgrimage of the Zion Christian Church amid the coronavirus outbreak.
This follows the announcement by President Cyril Ramaphosa on Sunday that gatherings of a 100 people or more are prohibited in order to contain the spread of COVID-19.

ZCC, which is one of the largest churches in the country and Africa, gather all their members at the church headquarters of Moria City in Limpopo every year over the Easter Weekend.
Spokesperson for the office of the Limpopo premier, Kenni Mathiva, says two meetings will be held over the next 24 hours.
"The provincial executive council has a special meeting today at 2'o clock and again tomorrow morning to look into this and other things and government at large is working on an engagement with the church," says Mathiva.
National government will be meeting with church leaders on Thursday to warn against the gathering.
"The government will meet with the church on Thursday, the church at large, throughout South Africa and anything can change going forward and we are waiting for that," adds Mathiva.
