Limpopo records first case of coronavirus

Limpopo is the latest province to record a case of coronavirus.
South Africa had 62 confirmed cases on Monday.
The province’s Health MEC Phophi Ramathuba told a media briefing that she confident that Limpopo has all the necessary capacity to deal with an outbreak of the virus.
The confirmed case is a 29-year-old male doctor who had recently travelled to France and Netherlands.
Ramathoba said the patient has been in self-quarantine since his return.
“The doctor is not coughing or showing any signs of illness, but he continues to get medical assistance from doctors. We plead with anyone who has been abroad to test and be in self-quarantine.”
She added that the province is working hard to trace any of the people he might have been in contact with.
